Dear Licensee/Vendor,
In light of the current landscape in Asia Pacific (APAC), the supply chain impacts on Facility operations, and the scheduling of audit visits in China, Disney ILS will provide an additional 90 calendar days for licensees andvendors to submit qualified ILS audit reports for review. This will go into effect immediately.
The 90-day extension applies to Facilities that have current audit due dates in February through April of 2020. Please reference your Monthly Status Report for Facilities in China that fall within this range. Please note thatthe 90-day extension applies ONLY to Facilities located in China for which licensees/vendors have already been issued a currently valid FAMA. Licensees and vendors wishing to use new Facilities in China for Disney-brandedproduction may not start any production until after they receive a FAMA issued by Disney ILS.
Disney ILS cannot guarantee audit firms' capacity to schedule or reschedule audit visits. Therefore, if you have a qualified ILS audit that is less than 6 months old, please be sure to submit it to Disney ILS for review as soon aspossible. This will help to minimize any scheduling or audit processing delays after the 90-day extension expires.
The next audit due dates in the Monthly Status Report for these Facilities will reflect the adjusted dates going forward.
ILS audit requirements remain the same for all other Facilities located in Permitted Sourcing Countries that require audits. You are still required to submit ILS audits by the next audit due date, as listed in the MonthlyStatus Report. Failure to provide audits by the next audit due date may result in a FAMA revocation.
We understand that recent events have impacted many Facilities, licensees, and vendors and that the situation is constantly evolving. Disney ILS continues to closely monitor the situation and may readjust these timelines ifit deems prudent to do so.
